Welcome to « SRF bewegt »! With the “ SRF bewegt ” app you can grasp your meter covered and measure yourself against Switzerland, your canton or friends. Join a group and make a contribution to their success with your activities. Set individuals or groups as favorites and pursue their achievements. The measurement is based on a pedometer and optionally on GPS. Activities that cannot be recorded with a pedometer or GPS can unfortunately not be measured.

Important NOTE:

On some smartphones, the energy saving mode prevents continuous measurement in the background. So that all your meters are counted, please switch off the energy saving mode.

Functions:

- Measurement of the meter covered with pedometers

- Measurement of the meter covered with GPS (training function)

- Comparison of daily and overall performance with the average performance of the canton and Switzerland

- Creating groups with optional password protection

- Mark users and groups as favorites and compare each other

- Users, groups and cantons ranking lists

Take part in “ SRF bewegt ”, the largest movement campaign in Switzerland! Radio SRF 1 and SRF 3, together with the Federal Office of Health (BAG) and the Federal Office for Sport (BASPO), bring momentum into the low -movement everyday life. You can find more about this on SRF.CH.

Please note that the continuous use of the GPS sensor in the background can drastically reduce the battery life. We recommend that you completely load your device before leaving the house. The app was developed for continuous operation in the background with minimal power consumption. This is necessary to capture your movement and to constantly update your progress in the rankings. The position determination is necessary for the distance calculation.
